This is a short video that I created to showcase my final project for my Intro to Java class back in 2016.

I want to share this video because this was back when I did not believe I could actually create a software program. Since then, I went on to learn more about developing in Java, Python for networking, and Web Development languages (HTML, JS, PHP) to create my own projects and automate tasks at work and for the company I started.

This project really sparked my interest and now I am able to incorporate my developing ideas into my IT Infrastructure and Network Security career.

I know the project I created back then is simple and didn’t really solve a problem because there are already tons of apps to help you calculate how much gas you will use and pay for. However, this was one of the most important projects in my career and really got me to think differently. I learned the fundamentals and now, thanks to this project I got the spark to want to learn more every day by creating my own home labs and practice to become great in my field.

Never stop learning.
